We are Justin and Emily, husband and wife photographers based in the beautiful county of Somerset, England. We have been awarded for our photography work internationally, have had our work displayed in galleries from New York Galleries to The Lourvé in Paris and have had our wedding photography work published in numerous wedding magazines including BRIDES, sister magazine to Vogue and Glamour.

We have captured destination weddings from the Highlands of Scotland at Ardtornish Estate and the Inner Hebrides at Calgary Bay on the Isle of Mull to Corfu, Crete (Greece), Thailand and Malaysia with further destination weddings in planning in Jamaica, the USA and South Africa. We approach all of our photography from the perspective of everyday life, bringing a laugh and enthusiasm to all our shoots. We will capture the story of your day as it unfolds, creating a natural lasting memory for you of the utmost quality captured on high-end Canon Full-Frame cameras and professional grade lenses. Your wedding will never be focused around the photography but around YOU and your wedding. What we mean is we never take over and make the day about the photos. We capture weddings in a reportage style but also work with you to capture a number of group photographs you may like.

We always meet our couples before capturing weddings. We can do this in our Studio in Somerset, over Skype or Facetime or we're also frequently in the London, Oxfordshire and West Sussex areas if that is more convenient to you. We'll chat all about your wedding day in depth and plan the group photographs over a coffee (and maybe some cake!). This is so that we can get to know each other and so there is no fuss or awkwardness on your wedding day. It's one of the reasons we also include a complimentary Engagement Shoot with all of our wedding photography packages. Your Engagement Shoot can captured anywhere you wish and is a really great way for us to get to know each other further, for you to see how we will work on your day so you're 100% relaxed around the cameras and for us to see how you guys interact with each other.

There are a number of reasons Justin Krause Photography won Best Destination Wedding Photographer in the South West last year.

1/. We'll get to know you and meet either in person on on zoom/facetime before we rock up on your day and expect you to be all relaxed around the cameras. Which leads us on to our next point...

Because you'll get to know us, it'll be more like some of your guests arriving for your wedding, except we'll being bringing 15 years of Weddings, Travel and Wedding Photography experience and equipment with us to capture your day in an unobtrusive, reportage style, creating memories and photos that your family will love to look back on for generations to come.

3/. We're there for YOU and you only. It's your wedding, your style and we're there to capture it. The last wedding we did in Corfu, the hotel photographer was capturing 3 other weddings that day on his own, 2 of them simultaneously. We offer a personal and bespoke photography service for Destination Weddings including activities such as snorkelling in the days before or after your wedding.

4/. Cost. We'll work out a manageable payment plan. Yes, it may be more than the Hotel photographer but you'll have peace of mind of a fluent, english speaking photographer, nearly 2 decades worth of experience, quality equipment that we know inside out, we'll be there for and you'll know us which, as we mentioned above, helps produce more natural photos.
